Greg Locke, a self-proclaimed “Christian” preacher, founded “Global Vision Baptist Church” in Mount Juliet, Tennessee (USA) on November 5, 2006. Today, the church is known as “Global Vision Bible Church.” Unlike traditional churches, Locke runs this church without congregational votes or the oversight of a board of deacons or trustees, yet the IRS has granted it tax-exempt status. I think all churches should pay taxes, but that this lunatic got exempt status is mind-blowing.

His website states that Locke is a “revivalist” with a “firebrand social media following because of his boldness for truth.” Like other right-wing evangelical preachers in the U.S., Locke doesn’t shy away from his strong political views, particularly his support for former U.S. President Donald Trump, his open dislike for Democrats, his anti-LGBTQ+ stance, and his contempt for other religions, especially Islam. Locke was also outspoken in his opposition to accepting the results of the U.S. presidential elections. He urged his followers not to take the COVID-19 threat seriously – often inserting biblical rhetoric to justify his political views.

With a significant online following of 2.2 million on Facebook, Locke’s actions and words get attention. In September 2021, he was permanently banned from Twitter for spreading Covid vaccine misinformation. He described the vaccine as “sugar water” and said he’d turn away churchgoers if they wore masks to his services. Locke’s divisive rhetoric targets political views differing from his own and includes abused women, even within his own family.

Locke once made headlines by leading a book burning targeting “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” series books and merchandise featuring Disney characters. Such actions are deplorable in the 21st century.

Despite his strong opinions, Locke avoids addressing the Bible’s graphic violence against innocent individuals, including the dismemberment of women, slaughtering of children, and gang rape by soldiers. Imagine that – a cherry-picking Christian. 🙄

Further raising concerns, Locke attended the January 6, 2021, Insurrection at the National Capitol and gave a violent prayer at a pro-Trump rally. His association with the right-wing “Proud Boys” domestic terrorist group (he calls them his “security,” and his controversial marriage history further show this “man of god’s” true character and motives.

Greg Locke’s actions and rhetoric deviate from the teachings of Jesus Christ, advocating for love, unity, and understanding. Instead, Locke uses religion as a guise for promoting hatred towards those with differing views from his own. Another clown is hiding behind a Bible. 🙄

While Locke may have a devoted following, it is crucial to question the messages of hate and extremism he spreads. His rhetoric threatens the United States’ domestic security, and his divisive approach is contrary to the universal love and teachings of Jesus Christ. It’s easy to dismiss people like this as delusional clowns, but people listen to people like him. He has over 2 million followers on Facebook. Granted, a number of those are there to troll him and dispute him, but many people are taking his nonsense to heart. They must be taken seriously.

You can’t be a Christian and vote Democrat

Some Evidence of Hate Speech/Incitement:

September 2015: Locke encouraged students of a history class at a local High School in Tennessee who were undertaking an Islamic history test to get an “F” grade rather than be “indoctrinated” with other religions besides Christianity.

January 2016: On his Facebook page, Locke posted a video stating, “Islam is a religion based and built on murder and perversity.” Locke further added, “Islam is a religion built on death to the infidels while Christianity is a religion built on salvation, love, mercy, grace, and redemption.”

January 2018: Locke’s former wife leaves him and files for divorce over allegations of adultery. The divorce was final in May. After months of denying they were in an intimate relationship before the divorce, Locke married his administrative assistant and ex-wife’s best friend, Tai Cowan McGee.

September 2020: About his views on abortion, Locke posted a video on his Instagram account stating that “you cannot be a follower of Jesus Christ and a believer in the eternal word of God and support the butchering and murdering of babies.” Locke added, “It is a holocaust in our nation; we must repent, turn from our wicked ways and ask God to forgive us for this evil and wicked nonsense.”

February 2022: Locke began telling his church about his conversations with demons.
Those demons, he said, had revealed the names of a group of “full-blown, spell-casting” witches who’d been sent to infiltrate his church.

“To God be the glory, I lie not,” he told the congregation on Sunday (February 13, 2022), which was meeting in a packed tent on the church’s property. “We got first and last names of six witches that are in our church. And you know what’s strange, three of you are in this room right now.” He goes on to threaten to out the accused witches in his typical overly dramatic fashion. You can see that below.

Why would a man of God believe a demon in the first place? A full video of 2 of the accused “witches” giving their testimony of the event can also be seen below.
